Akiko Shikata – Kuon no Umi

Taken from her 3rd album, Harmonia. This song is totally AWESOME! I always set my foobar ‘repeat track’ when I’m come home xD. Awesome!

Here’s the lyric.

haruka na suiheisen noboru asa hi ga
kiniro no shizuku wo namima e kobosu
mezameta sangotachi sasayaki utau
azayakana sekai

tooku uketsugare yuku kioku
yuruginai negai no sete
ima unabara ni tsudou

subete no seimei wo dakishime
kiseki ni kagayaku haha naru umi yo
meguri umareizuru
yorokobi to kanashimi wo itooshimu tsuyosa wo
watashi ni oshiete okure

toki ha unmei wo tsuredashite
aoi takanami to tomo ni kanata e to nagareyuku

amata no seimei wo hagukumi
tabidachi wo mimamoru haha naru umi yo
wakare wo osoreru kono kokoro ni
norikoeru chikara wo ataete okure

Oh acque marine, grembo materno
( aa haha naru umi yo )
Voi, onde che portate mille destini!
( amata no unmei wo hakobi todokeru nami yo )
Guidate a una terra fertile l’arca
( atarashiki seimei no hakobune wo )
che porta nuove vita
( houjou no daichi e to michibiite okure )

subete no seimei wo dakishime
kiseki ni kagayaku haha naru umi yo
meguri umareizuru yorokobi to kanashimi wo
itooshimu tsuyosa wo oshiete okure

Just an small correction: the proper romanization for the title is “kuon no umi”. The rest of the romaji looks perfect, however (though the romaji for the italian lines is somewhat… pointless…)

Thanks for the correction. Kuon and Eien both based on the same kanji xD That’s why I write it in Eien.

Well, I don’t know if it’s pointless or not, though I prefer ppl know how to read the kanji too, since Akiko-san was singing with italian.

    Anyway, thanks.
